Pollution

Council’s Health and Environmental Protection Team is responsible for complaints and monitoring water, air, noise and land pollution.

The team deals with many types of pollutions complaints and incidencies.  Council attends attend and coordinates clean ups for spills, orphan chemicals and asbestos in the Shire.

In some cases Clean Up Notices are issued, which requires immediate action by the offender.
